Description

In this context, UNDP Egypt country office is seeking a service provider to co-develop a tech-enabled tool with the objective of supporting

a) fund managers assess private companies social impact, and

b) private companies to manage, track and report on their social impact.

For ease of use, the tool should also include practical step-by-step guidelines (manual) for impact assessment for private companies. Both the tool and manual should be developed in a way that makes them practical to use for MSMEs. In addition to the digital tool, two training of trainers (TOT) workshops are to be held to train

1.            a cohort of 10 fund managers, on how to use the tool and roll it out and assess the companies in the pipeline of the funds they are managing and derive overall statement

2.            a cohort of private companies, including 10 MSME’s on how to employ the tool and manual for better impact management/reporting

The digital tool and manual should outline the fundamentals of impact management, practical examples and case studies of its application, and tips for the users to facilitate understanding the purpose, the application, and the benefits of the tool. The main target of the tool are fund managers, impact management consultants and private companies for collection and aggregation of data on impact impact funds with a simple tool to effectively conduct impact due diligence reporting on their potential investments. The objective of the TOT is to ensure that the tool is easily understood/navigated by the users so they can roll it out and apply the impact guidelines and reporting in the real world.
