We would like to submit a proposal for this tender and we believe we are a great fit, however we would need the support of a local architect/consultant when it comes to:1. Site Visit/ Site Info 2. Detail drawings that suit the construction of Afghanistan's materials 3. Specifications and priced BOQ for materials in Afghanistan as well. New clarification added: Dear Sirs,Reference is made to the FORMS we have to submit for the tender in caption.We noticed some inconsistencies between the FORMS provided by UNOPS under the tender documents and those we have to upload on your e-portal.Actually on your e-portal, you are asking us yo upload FORM D - "Previous Experience Form" and FORM E - "Performance Statement Form".On the contrary, in the provided Tender Documents, FORM D is "Format for Resume of Proposed Key Personnel" and FORM E is "Previous Experience Form".We kindly ask you to clarify which Forms we have to upload, with specific regard to the FORM E - "Performance Statement Form" mentioned in your e-portal, that is not included in the Tender Documents.In this light, we also kindly ask you for a submission deadline postponement of at least two weeks, in order to put all the bidders in the condition of preparing a complete tender documentation.Thank you in advance for your collaboration.Best Regards,INTEGRA AES srlDear Sir,We have answered all the clarifications that the bidders have asked. New clarification added: Dear Sir, AES is Afghan private consultancy company and performing technical survey, engineering civil design, construction QA/QC, material testing and geotechnical investigation around the country since 2006, and fortunately AES completed many consultancy projects for UNOPS and other UN agencies.as AES would like to submit proposal for design work with RFQ/2020/14598, due to this it is kindly request you to clarify these questions which are stated below:- As, it is mentioned in the schedule of requirement reconnaissance study of the topography, geography and geology shall be done for the project, so please clarify what is the purpose of geography and geology work for this design.- The schedule of requirement did not say anything about performance of geo technical investigation, but as per our information, this project needs for performance of mentions work, if the project needs for performance of geo technical investigation, in this case please clarify the number of borehole or test pit with required depth including tests name with boring machine type, in fact the clarification of these question will simplify the project cost, otherwise it will be difficult to find the actual price for design work.- For better performance the design drawings needs to be reviewed by UNOPS team, but the schedule of requirement did not consider the review time, the consideration of this time will avoid the project from daily, therefore please identify the review time for this project? On page 6, there is mentioned that (Electrical Considerations, The Contractor shall prepare an on-site energy supply and security system), please clarify it? Could you please clarify the Period of Validity for this Quotations? Could you explain what is the different between table 2 and 3, in form B? New clarification added: Dear Sirs/Madams,We would like to ask for some clarifications about the project that are listed below:Page 4 in Section II-Schedule of Requirements, mentioned that “During construction, the designer will be required to provide solutions to design-related issues and submit missing details, if any”. We would like to ask the expected duration of construction works and therefore for how long the reach-back service should be provided.Page 6, point 6 in Section II-Schedule of Requirements, mentioned that “The Contractor shall prepare an on-site energy supply and security system”. Point 7 in the same document mentioned that “The Contractor shall prepare all the necessary water systems and waste treatment systems”.Please kindly clarify whether you will provide after award drawings of the existing conditions regarding drainage system, utilities etc. that we can use as a starting point for our project, especially for the connections.Page 7, point a in Section II-Schedule of Requirements, mentioned that “ the consultant shall undertake a reconnaissance study of the topography, geography and geology of the site to assess the suitability of the proposed preliminary concept design”.Please kindly clarify whether you will provide after award soil data, geotechnical information and topographic information that we can use as a starting point for our project.Page 7, point j in Section II-Schedule of Requirements, mentioned that “Consultant shall obtain required approval(s) for the final deliverables of design and construction of designed facilities”.Please kindly clarify the above, we fail to understand this principle.Thanks in advance.Best RegardsDear Sir,We have answered all the clarifications that the bidders have asked. The bidders should consider that the design can be done assuming that the construction site is relatively on flat ground and there is no requirement for topographic or geological survey. For the geotechnical survey/investigation, there are pre-existing structures on the site that will be demolished and a two-storeyed containerized structure is feasible. 2. Detail drawings that suit the construction of Afghanistan's materials ANSWER:The conceptual drawings are provided.3. Specifications and priced BOQ for materials in Afghanistan as well.
