HQ20NF160 - EOI - Supply of WFP branded reusable water bottles
The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. Each year, WFP assists some 80 million people in around 80 countries.
Throwaway plastic use has very significant environmental impacts, for example by 2050 there could be more plastic in the ocean than fish. WFP staff globally are encouraged to reduce disposable plastic packaging in their work and their own daily routines, as part of a global campaign to #BeatPlasticPollution and WFP has accordingly started to phase out single use plastics.
To continue supporting and implementing the #BeatPlasticPollution, as well as raising broader awareness to the issue, the WFP Communications, Advocacy and Marketing Division (CAM), located at WFP’s headquarters in Rome, seeks to purchase reusable water bottles to be branded with WFP’s logo.
WFP invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing the goods by sending the documentation listed in the EOI by email to HQ.tenders@wfp.org.
