Summary of Requirements:

To develop two separate landscape documents on maternal and newborn health, and/or contraception.

* High-level background to disease burdens, global landscape, and commodity access issues, focusing on recent developments/trends, and gaps/barriers.

* Technology landscape

* Market landscape

* Roles and influence of key stakeholders

Level of effort:

Activity 1: Maternal and newborn health landscape document

Approximately 20 working days

Activity 2: Contraception landscape document

Approximately 10 working days

Timeline:

Start in the second-half of February to May 2020.

Essential experience and educational requirements

* Advanced level university degree in business and or public health or the equivalent with between 7-10 years’ work experience in global public health.

* At least 5 years’ experience in developing technical reports, and other communication materials for a range of audiences

* At least 3 years’ experience in RMNCAH, with a well-established network of contacts in industry, academia, international agencies, etc. relevant to RMNCAH

* Experience in horizon scanning for new technologies in global health

Desirable experience

* Working knowledge of Unitaid and the World Health Organization

* Product development and commercialization in global health, and particularly in RMNCH products.
