The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS) is pleased to invite competent and/or qualified Bidders/Contractors to submit their respective competitive proposal for the Provision of Geo-technical and Topographical Survey for the Construction of a Primary School in Tsore Refugee Camp near Assosa, Ethiopia in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and the “Schedule of Requirements” herein uploaded as “RFQ-Section_II” as set out in this Request for Quotation (RFQ).

Geophysical surveys
New clarification added: Dear Bidder;Greetings from UNOPS Ethiopia! We hereby extends our gratefulness for your interest on the captioned RFQ and requests for further clarification. Kindly refer the clarifications for your respective requests as follows: Request 1: Regarding 'Site boundary layout plan with indication of at least 2 benchmarks', can we establish these two benchmarks using hand-held GPS and Total Station or do we need to bring a mounted GPS?Clarification: It's possible to establish the two benchmarks using hand-held GPS and Total Station. Please remember to create two physical benchmarks like a concrete pad or a small concrete pole.Request 2: 'Detailed topographic survey by using Real Time Kinematic Global Positioning system (RTK-GPS) and Total Station.' For this scope we believe Total Station is enough to complete a detailed topographic survey, do we need to aslo use both equipments or just either one?Clarification: For this kind of work is possible to use the Total Station without the RTK-GPS.
