New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2018/3983: Question 1: Can you guarantee the number of hours of equipment in AL azragien site.Answer: The planned and estimated working hours for the entire project is 700 hours, unless something out of control happened. And the contractor shall be 100% self-sufficient. (Please refer to point 4 & 6 in lot 2.)Question 2 : Do you guarantee the number of lift hours for loader 890 or 910? Answer: The estimated working hours for the entire project is 100 hours. However, this shall not be a guarantee. This equipment will be based on need during the implementation of the contract. (Please refer to point 3 and 4 in lot 1.2 & 1.3) This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.Thank you.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2018/3983: Question 1: About the Estimated quantity which is 42,000 M3 that you put it, is the 6000 M3 per each month from these districts is a fixed quantity?? Answer: No, it’s not a fixed quantity and it’s only an estimated working average rate per month. (Please refer to point 12 in lot 1.1.). Question 2: If the total quantity of the collected waste that the teams will clean it for theses districts is less than 6000 M3 will it consider as 6000 M3 quantity ? Answer: No, payment will be based on actual quantities measured on site (please refer to point 5 in lot 1.1). However, these actual quantities will not be far from the estimated quantities requested. Question 3: If the quantity exceeded 6000M3 we will collect the extra amount per M3? Answer: Yes, because as per point 5 and 12 in lot 1.1, payment will be based on actual quantities. However, there should be a prior approval from UNOPS.General note: the estimated quantity per week which is 1,500 cubic meter has been determined based on the capacity of the landfill to receive waste.Question 4: Will the cost of the cleaning project supervior and UNOPS representative be covered by the bidder? Answer: No, bidder will not be charged for the cleaning project supervisor and UNOPS representative. However, the bidder shall cover the cost of his own supervisor and labour. (please refer to point 6 in lot 1.1).This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.Thank you.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2018/3983: Question 1: Can provide us more detail about the targeted location ( name of street & neighborhood or area ) in each district and the quantity of each location in every district?Answer: please refer to Annex A and schedule of requirement. Question 2: We want to visit the work site. you can do. Answer: Please refer to our pervious clarification dated on 16th of May 2018. Question 3: Do you appreciate moving material at night because it will directly affect the cost calculation? Answer: It depends on security issues and noise limit,. However, working at night will need a clear permission from cleaning project manager at Sana'a Miscibility.Question 4: Is the amount of dirt is above the dust or asphalt. Answer: The waste as per point 1 in the schedule of requirement would be in different surface types that could dust, asphalt, sidewalks, and etc.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.Thank you.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2018/3983: Question 1: In Section 2-Lot 1.1 Cleaning Campaign-item No.4-Is there a site visit for the mentioned districts? also what is the border of each District ? and please give us more details about it.Answer: for the site visit, any supplier who is interested can do the site visit. And for the district boarder, it is the supplier’s responsibility to liaise with the relevant people in the Municipality of Sana’a (Cleaning Project) and the estimated quantity for each districts is mentioned in the RFQ – Annex A. Question 2: In Section 2-Lot 1.1 Cleaning Campaign-item No.6-About Manpower that will work in these districs there is no information about the working teams, How many workers in each team?that will work in the Cleaning campaign for waste materials ,piles of loose debris and the mentioned works on the tender till the final landfill, to arrive the Second Plan to put the suitable price for the working manpower Answer: As per the Schedule of Requirements, the supplier must be self-sufficient and it is his responsibility to decide the manpower needed to execute the work as identified in the SOW. This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.Thank you.
