Description

UNOPS has several decades of experience managing high complexity projects in difficult environments around the world.  With this experience, UNOPS has been able to develop a holistic methodology and processes for managing portfolios and projects, associated risks, quality management, stakeholder management, and the sharing of lessons learnt.

UNOPS does not believe that any product currently in the market provides a solution to managing complex projects with all the required elements integrated into a hoistic solution.

With this Expression of Interest (EOI), UNOPS intends to gather information and expressions of interests from private firms offering a product / platform that caters to some or all the functionality described in Section 4 (Specific Requirements / Information) with the intent to form a partnership with the following objectives:

  1. Co-develop the extension of an existing product / platform to make it more holistic and fit for use by a large project organisation;
  2. Utilise UNOPS extensive knowledge and experience in managing complex projects to embed the product with best-in-class methodologies and workflow / processes;
  3. Utilise UNOPS knowledge to sufficiently parametrise the product for implementation within UNOPS partner organisations (other members of the UN family, member states of the UN, international NGOs, etc.);
  4. Partner with UNOPS in order to offer the enhanced product to UNOPS partners and participate in any bid or proposal development that may be required for the implementation of the product with UNOPS partner organisations.

The scope of this Expression of Interest is limited to non-commercial services. For the purpose of this EOI, non-commercial agreements should be interpreted as voluntary and collaborative arrangements in which all parties involved agree to work together for a defined period of time to achieve a common purpose or undertake a specific task while sharing risks, responsibilities, resources and benefits in a transparent and accountable manner.
