SALE OF WRITTEN-OFF VARIOUS TYPES OF ITEMS

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a mandate to support the implementation of the Security Council Resolution 1701. As part of the Mission’s support programme, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from fully qualified companies wishing to be considered for inclusion in a tender for the following: SALE OF WRITTEN-OFF VARIOUS TYPES OF ITEMS The United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has various types of written-off assets/items i.e. car wash, vehicle’s spare parts, vehicles’ tires etc… for sale, located at the UNIFIL Scrap Yard at UNIFIL HQ Naqoura, South Lebanon. The written-off assets/items are offered for sale ‘AS IS’ and ‘WHERE IS’, and without recourse or warranties of any kind. In this regard, UNIFIL will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and consider inviting those companies that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNIFIL’s requirement. Site Visit shall be organized for this purpose by the Procurement Office UNIFIL. Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of a price proposal. This expression of interest (EOI) does not commit UNIFIL to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in the submission of the ITB, or costs incurred in making necessary studies for the preparation thereof, or to procure or contract for services or supplies. Interested companies shall submit Expression of Interest and supporting documentation by fax or e-mail addressed as shown above not later than close of business on the 31 May 2017.
