Study on Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Transportation of Laboratory Samples in Malawi (Phase 1)

The Contractor will support the Study on Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for Transportation of Laboratory Samples in Malawi with the following activities:

• Assess potential locations, flight paths, geography and terrain, weather conditions, communication coverage, power sources, and safety and security risks
• Provide three UAVs for use during Phase 1 of the study along with any additional hardware, software, and spare parts necessary to accomplish Phase 1 of the study.
• Conduct flights between agreed-upon health facilities and laboratories in Malawi over the course of approximately two weeks
• Document results, including key capabilities, reliability and challenges, and provide recommendations for future operations
