Long Term Contract for the Provision of Special Courier Services and Diplomatic Pouch for UNGSC/UNLB

The United Nations Global Service Centre/United Nations Logistics Base (UNSGC/UNLB) requires the services of a qualified contractor for a Long term Contract (intial 2 year period with three optional 1 year extensions for a maximum 5 year period) for the Provision of 'Special Courier Services' and ‘Diplomatic Pouch Services', on a “weekly” and on “as and when required” basis.

The ‘Special Courier Services’ and ‘Diplomatic Pouch Services' are required for the collection, dispatch and worldwide delivery, under ‘Door-to-Door’ terms of documents, parcels and diplomatic pouch consignments to the following destinations:

-  Any location in Italy (incoming and outgoing shipping services)

- Offices of the United Nations Secretariat in New York City and UN Offices/Missions worldwide (inbound and outbound services)

-  Any location worldwide (even if subject to embargo)

- Third party shipments (from/to any UN Office/Mission or location worldwide)

The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI.

In order for the Expression of Interest to be considered, the company must be registered with United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) by visiting the website: www.ungm.org.

In order to be awarded a Contract/Purchase Order, the Vendor must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) for the required Level of Registration, which is “Level 1”, by the time of finalization of bid evaluation before the award.
