New clarification added: Q.5:We kindly request clarification regarding Lot 2, Line 21 – Protection system against incorrect installation of cookware.Could you please clarify what is meant by cookware in this context? Specifically, does this refer to flask racks or test tubes?A.5:The wording resulted from an inaccuracy in translation. The term “cookware” refers to test tubes (glassware).Potential bidders are kindly requested to take this clarification into account when preparing their bids.

New clarification added: Q.4:We are writing to request clarification on the following points related to the above-referenced tender (ITB/2025/60841):1. Lot 1, Item 7Our proposed equipment provides four channels, each supporting a capacity range of 0.2 L to 2.0 L. Kindly confirm whether this configuration fully complies with the technical requirements specified for this item.2. Lot 1, Item 17In order to supply fully compatible accessories, we kindly request confirmation of the following specifications for the adsorption tube:Inner and outer diameter, as well as tube length;Type and material of the packing (sorbent);Material and quantity per unit of the required disposable filter. This information will allow us to ensure that all accessories supplied are fully compatible with the proposed system.A.4:Lot 1 was removed from the solicitation pursuant to the solicitation amendment issued on 12 January 2026, as the clarification requests made it evident that the technical specifications require material revision and reconfirmation by the client.Accordingly, the item originally included under Lot 1 will be tendered under a separate solicitation once the revised technical specifications have been finalized.

New clarification added: Q.3: Please find below our clarification requests regarding Lot 2.Line 4: Supported sample volumes range from 2 ml to 100 ml or widerStandard test tubes from most manufacturers typically have maximum capacities of 200 ml or 250 ml. Could you please clarify whether larger-volume tubes (for example, 200 ml to 250 ml) are acceptable for this application?Line 11: Automatic detection of end of evaporation (optical residue sensor)With this function, test tubes are typically 200 ml or 250 ml in volume. When using 100 ml test tubes, automatic detection of the end of evaporation is generally not available.Could you please confirm whether 200 ml or 250 ml test tubes are acceptable for this requirement?Line 12: Touchscreen color display showing at least actual and set temperature, timer, gas supply speedThe requirement refers to displaying “gas supply speed”; however, the actual user interface typically displays pressure instead. When paired with a compatible nitrogen generator with flow control, the gas flow rate can be set externally.Would displaying pressure on the screen, rather than direct gas flow rate, be acceptable?Line 16: Possibility of setting a gradient gas flowCould you please clarify why this feature is specified as a “possibility”? This function significantly increases the price, while more cost-effective models generally offer fixed gradient options (for example, 10 preset gradients with adjustable time intervals and gas supply pressure). Is this feature mandatory, or may it be omitted?Line 17: Availability of automatic tube rinsing functionNitrogen blowing needles do not normally come into contact with the test tube. Including an automatic tube rinsing function would increase the price by approximately one to two times. Is this feature mandatory, or may it be omitted?Line 22: RS232 or USB data transfer interfaceCould you please clarify the intended purpose of this interface? Is it intended only for exporting method settings? While some units display all parameters on the touchscreen, they do not support data export. As samples are transferred to other instruments for analysis after concentration, is data export from the concentrator itself required?Line 24: Set of compatible test tubes with a volume of 100 ml to 200 ml – 2 setsThe standard configuration usually includes 12 pieces of 200 ml or 250 ml tubes plus one flask rack. Does “2 sets” mean an additional 12 pieces per set (total of 24 pieces), or is one standard set plus one additional set of 12 pieces sufficient?Line 25: Set of compatible test tubes with a volume of 40 ml to 90 ml – 2 setsDoes “2 sets” refer to a total of 24 test tubes (12 pieces per set), typically 50 ml or 60 ml depending on the manufacturer?Note regarding Lines 24 and 25:To ensure reliable operation of the optical residue sensor, the manufacturer recommends using test tubes of uniform volume during each run. Will mixed-volume usage be permitted, or must all tubes within a single batch be identical in size?Line 26: Racks for flasks specified in paragraphs 24 and 25 – 2 pcsDoes this requirement mean one rack for smaller tubes (50 ml or 60 ml) and one rack for larger tubes (200 ml or 250 ml), totaling two racks? If the standard configuration already includes a rack for larger tubes, would providing an additional rack for smaller tubes be sufficient?Line 29: Nitrogen generator included, compatible with the proposed evaporation deviceA compatible nitrogen generator delivering 10 L/min with 0 to 0.6 MPa pressure regulation offers better cost efficiency. Would this specification be acceptable?Additionally, test tubes of 60 ml and 250 ml from alternative manufacturers are available but at a higher price. Could you please confirm the budget range allocated for Lot 2 (Nitrogen Concentration System)? Finally, as this appears to be a re-tender, could you please clarify whether full compliance with all stated technical requirements is mandatory, or whether equivalent or functionally comparable alternatives may be considered?A.3:Dear bidder, please find responses below:1. Please note that requirement for test tubes as per line 4 means that the offered device shall support different types of tubes in the range from 2 ml up to 100 ml (or wider).2. Line 11 remains unchanged, as per client's requirement.3. Line 12, offered solution will be technically acceptable.4. Line 16 remains as stipulated as per client's requirement.5. Line 17 remains as stipulated as per client's requirement.6. Line 22 refers to data transfer since user is research related facility.7. Line 24 refers to one standard and one additional set.8. Line 25 refers to one standard and one additional set.Note regarding Lines 24 and 25:Please note that the requirement to use tubes of uniform or mixed volume during a run is not specified in the tender’s technical requirements. This aspect depends on the functional capabilities of the offered device and the design of its optical residue detection system.9. Line 26 - this requirement means one rack for smaller tubes (e.g., 40–90 ml) and one rack for larger tubes (e.g., 100–200 ml), totaling two racks. If the standard configuration of the offered device already includes a rack for larger tubes, then providing an additional rack for smaller tubes is sufficient to meet the requirement.10. Line 29 - the suggestion is acceptable providing that it is fully compatible with the device and ensures full functionality. The budget can not be disclosed.Alternatives are welcome if the suggested solutions are meeting minimum stipulated criteria, whereas technical solutions lower then stipulated will not be acceptable.

New clarification added: Q.1: For Lot 2, the minimum required sample volume to be processed is 100 ml. Accordingly, the compatible test tube capacity must be at least 100 ml.However, in Form D, under the section Components, Spare Parts, and Consumables, Line No. 25 specifies test tubes with a capacity range of 40–90 ml, which is inconsistent with the required sample volume. We kindly request your clarification on this discrepancy.A.1:Please note that the requirement for test tubes under line 4 means that the offered device shall support different types of tubes in the range from 2 ml up to 100 ml, or a wider range. Accordingly, the bidder is required to include in its quotation two sets of test tubes compatible with the device, with different volumes within the ranges of 40 to 90 ml and 100 to 200 ml.
