Expression of Interest for suppliers of Postpartum Blood Collection Devices.

Severe bleeding after childbirth, or postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), is the leading cause of preventable maternal mortality worldwide. Early identification and timely management of PPH can be lifesaving, especially in countries where access to quality-assured, life-saving medicines and healthcare services is limited.

To address this critical issue, UNFPA is launching an Expression of Interest for manufacturers of postpartum blood collection devices, which play a key role in identifying PPH and enabling prompt intervention.
