New clarification added: Dear Bidder;Greetings from UNOPS Ethiopia! We hereby extend our gratefulness for your interest on the captioned ITB and request for clarification. Kindly refer the clarifications for your requests as follows: 1. General Item on BOQ on the general item 5.1 No technical specifications for site supervisor office facilities(type of construction material and sanitation & water supply)Allow site supervisor's office of size 20 m2 (approved by UNOPS) to be used as a temporary office spaces for the exclusive use of UNOPS Supervision Staff – This shall consist, of a minimum, 2 desks and extensions, office chairs, meeting table, and a filing cabinet. The Contractor will cover all charges, running cost, maintenance expenses, and all other costs to maintain the site office facilities functional during the construction period. the contractor shall prior supplying and installing the offices submit a shop drawing for the location and the layouts of the office for UNOPS approval.5.2 the type of vechile (model and year of made) for site super visor not stated to estimate the price.*Pickup 4WD, manufacturing year: 2000 and above.2.the pump size is it estimated? becouse borehole yiels(discharge l/s and depth m) will be known after drilling. in addition the size of pump and solar panel will be designed after bore hole yield is known. so the size stated is estimated or will be designed later?*The pump size and solar panels are designed based on the prevailing hydrological and geophysical investigations. Bidders are expected to provide prices based on sizes and specifications given in the bidding documents. 3. Site Visit: Who is responsible person on the Qoloji site to contact for the site visit?*Basazinew Terefe Email: basazinewt@unops.org Tel: +251 911 43 09404. Time Extension: since we are not experianced on the website tender submision we are requesting you to extend the submission date by 7 working days* Bidders will be informed through our web site. Kindly refer the clarifications for your requests as follows: Request: Please can you clarify wether international contractor's can also bid.Clarification: As stated in the tender particulars, No nationalities are excluded from submitting a bid. Only bidders (or joint-venture bidders) legally registered and permitted to work in Ethiopia are eligible to submit bids.
