The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of UN-Habitat (Syria) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies for provision of works (Restoration of secondary bridge (Al-Ba’ath) and road over Elphourat river in Der Ez Zur city, Syria). Backround: The Al-Baath bridge (the Old Bridge) connects Hawiqah neighborhood with the city center of Deir Ezzor (which consists of the Municipality, the Court, the old Central Market, and other important facilities). The bridge is included in the Master Plan of Deir Ezzor city; therefore, it’s owned by the Municipality. Scope of work will include the following but not limited to: - Rehabilitation and reinforcement work. - The bridge is 85-meter long and 14.5-meter width to be used by both vehicles and pedestrians Additional details, specifications, and terms of reference shall be provided in the tender document to be issued subsequent to this EOI. UNON invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form and sending it either electronically or via email. IInterested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms to grace.macharia@un.org with copy to unon-procurement-rfx@un.org.
