Will you please advise us the brand for this hydraulic motor driven vacuum pump for us check?Answer: We are not looking for a specific brand, please refer to the bidding document and technical specifications.Question 142. Regards the "Water Cooled Vacuum Pump", as we checked MORO, JUROP, and MEC their specification for sliding vanes vacuum pump the capacity ranged from 2,000LPM to 6,000LPM are air cooled. Their water cooled vacuum pump capacity are mostly above 6,500LPM, as we think is not suitable for a 6,000liters and 12,000liters vacuum sewer truck. So as we think the water cooled is not suitable for this small vacuum tank, shall we offer the air cooled pump instead of it ?Answer: Please refer to the bidding document and technical specifications, the requested is water cooled vacuum pump

New clarification added: Supply, Delivery, Inspection, and Testing a 12,000 & 6,000 litters Sewer Vacuum / Cesspit Tankers Mounted on Truck complete with all accessories such as hoses, fittings, quick couplings, etc. to Local water and sanitation corporation (MWSLC) warehouses in Amran, Dhamar, Mukalla and Zinjbar citiesDear Bidder, Please note the below-raised questions and our official responses in connection to the Request for Quotation, ref. RFQ/2020/14147: Question 1:With regards to the chassis requirements, our supplier has identified the following: It is difficult to me the 3-month delivery time if a 2020 chassis is required. Because most of the brands provide the chassis cabin at least 3 months to the manufacturing facility and another 3 months are needed for bodybuilding. Therefore, we need a min. 6 months for delivery with exports incoterm, aswe have another possibility to provide ready chassis. They are new, never used, but older models like 2018 or 2019. If it is possible, then it is an option, please let us know if using a new older chassis would be acceptable.Answer:Please refer to RFQ documents and specification Question 2:With regards to onsite training; as you are aware, the COVID-19 emergency and in-country instability in Yemen is proving difficult for safe travel and naturally, our supplier is concerned. If the situation does not improve would you allow the end-user to send their employees to the factory for training purposes; if not, can you advise on the best course of action.Answer:Please refer to RFQ documents and specification Question 3:Atmospheric pressure at sea level = 14.7 psi = 1.034 kg/cm². Partial Vacuum pressure inside tube = 4 psi = 0.2812 kg/cm² (a realistic amount how much of a vacuum a pump can produce). (1.034 kg/cm² – 0.2812 kg/cm²) / 0.001 kg = 752 cm = 7.52 m.Therefore, in this instance, our real-world pump would have a maximum suction lift of 7.52m, although you would still need to factor in other effects such as friction losses in the suction hose – making the actual value even lower. This gives more of an insight into a common question that can often be misleading.Answer:Please refer to RFQ documents and specification Question 4:I sent an offer related to the following tender: RFQ/2019/12782, deadline 20 December 2019. Is it the same tender because I do not receive any feedback from you?Answer:Please note that this tender reference is RFQ/2020/14147, not the same tender. Question 5:In view of the actual medical and security issues, we kindly ask for your answer and note below: You indicated that: - Bidder shall deliver the goods DAP within 3 months after the PO signature. While due to the following:1. The new Corona crisis and shipping priorities are given to PPE and medical items.2. Truck chassis arrival of app.3 months so total unit delivery time: 5 months at earliest from EXW Factory Delivery, We kindly ask you to adjust the delivery time to read 5-7 working months.After-sales service for the chassis can be arranged either locally by agents or by dealers while the manufacturer will handle the superstructure directly in case needed.Answer:Please refer to RFQ documents and specification Question 6:Our company RAF OJAKH LLC is just 8 years old and has supplied different types of goods within the framework of local and international tenders. In your qualification criteria, it is stated as follows: Bidder should be in the continuous business of providing similar goods for the last (10) yearsDoes it mean that our company as a trading company cannot bid here? Kindly clarify.Answer:Please refer to RFQ documents and specification Best Regards,
