Description
HQ20NF013 – Provision of Social and Behaviour Change Communications Services.
- Background
- The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. Each year, WFP assists some 80 million people in around 80 countries.
- In recognition of the potential impact of social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) on the effectiveness of interventions for nutrition, health and livelihoods, WFP is continuing to scale up the integration of SBCC as an integral component of its humanitarian and development operations worldwide.
- WFP is currently seeking qualified organizations to support and enhance its global SBCC portfolio with expertise and demonstrated experience in delivering high quality results in one or more of the following areas:
- Design and carrying out formative research to inform the design of SBCC strategies
- Design and implementation of theory- and evidence-based SBCC strategies
- Development and implementation of mixed method SBCC frameworks for monitoring and evaluating outcomes and impact
- Design mixed media SBCC materials using participatory methods
- Development and implementation of capacity strengthening programmes for government and non-government partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work in humanitarian emergency and development contexts
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse cultural contexts and with a range of partners
- The purpose of this Expression of Interest (EOI)
- The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified technical and financial capacity to provide the services. Eligible suppliers will be invited to participate in the bidding process for the proposed tender.
- Eligibility to participate in the proposed tender will be determined on the basis of demonstrating capacity and qualification to deliver the required services
- After the deadline for submission of responses has passed, WFP will evaluate responses received and will notify eligible participants of the outcome of the evaluation.
- How to prepare and submit your Expression of Interest
- Interested organizations are invited to express their interest with following information:
- A brief organizational profile (A4 page)
- Summary of experience in the above areas
- In order to participate in the pre-qualification exercise, companies are also required to provide the following:
- Supplier Background Check Form (Annex 1);
- Supplier Financial Status Form (Annex 2);
- Past Experience Form (Annex 3);
- Signatory.
- WFP will provide shortlisted organizations with a detailed Terms of Reference and Scope of Work for submission of proposals.
- All supporting documentation listed above shall be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided and sent to WFP Procurement by email to HQ.tenders@wfp.org. The deadline for response to this request for EOI:
