1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for Security Enhancement & Disability Inclusion Measures at UNITAD Villa, International Zone, Baghdad, Iraq. 2.0 The solicitation will be based on detailed Statement of Works (SoW), Bill of Quantities (BoQ), Technical Specifications, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for the tender. 2.1 Extent of Works The work shall consist but not be limited to the furnishing of all necessary tools, materials, equipment, skilled manpower, transportation, machinery, accessories, and supervision to carry out all works as described below: 1. Mobilization Contractor shall mobilize within 7 (seven) calendar days after notice to proceed issuance date. 2. Demobilization Contractor shall demobilize within 5 (five) calendar days from the project completion date. 3. Civil works 3.1 Site Clearing and providing temporary partition and all the related work for site preparation. 3.2 Earth works. 3.3 Concrete works. 3.4 Masonry works. 3.5 Interlocking work 3.6 Canopy 3.7 Prefab container works 4. Thermal and Waterproofing Works 4.1 Waterproofing 4.2 Damp-Proofing 5. Architectural Works. 5.1 Floor finishing. 5.2 Wall finishing. 5.3 Ceiling finishing. 5.4 Doors and windows. 6. Miscellaneous Works. 7. Sanitary / Plumbing works. 8. Mechanical works. 9. Electrical works. 10. FTS Works 3.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. 4.0 In addition, the interested companies are requested to complete their registration at Basic Level on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). 5.0 Please note the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
