New clarification added: Question: 04We are Dubai based company interested in response to this RFQ, and we need the following clarifications before we proceed with the submission. 1. Delivery Time: The delivery time of 5 weeks is good enough for ambulance modifications and delivery to the final destination, we can supply in a minimum of 8 weeks. 2. Warranty: Can we submit the offer avoiding the warranty clause? the base vehicle dealers are not providing any type of warranty, especially for the export units. 3. After-sales services: we do not have any source or an agreement with local companies to provide after-sales services. are we still eligible to submit the offer. Answer for Question No: 04A delivery time of 8 weeks is acceptable.Because of the location and context in which the ambulances will be used, a warranty is required.. Because of the location and the operational context, we require after-sales services to be included in your offer.Question: 05Is it allowed to drive the ambulances to Harare ?1/ Distance from South Africa to Harare ? Distance of 24 hours driving - about 3000km to the speedometer.2/ Second option is driving from Beira Port for 8 hours to Harare ( Will add km on the vehicles ) ?Answer for Question No: 05This is also allowed, but UNOPS will not accept any faults or issues that could come up before the vehicles have been handed over in Harare.Question: 06For clarification purposes on the After Sales Services; does this only apply to the accessories and advanced life support accessories?Answer for Question No: 06 After sales service applies to the conversion and the Advanced Life Support equipment.Question: 07I would be grateful for the following clarifications: 1. Due to the Covid -19 pendemic and due to the fact that the Toyota Landcruiser vehicles do not come sampled from the manufacturer and therefore there is another process of pairing the vehicle and turning it into an ambulance, 5 weeks delivery times are not enough and we think suppliers can not meet the delivery time. In light of this, is it possible to offer delivery times longer than 5 weeks?2. As part of the bid, we required, to present a copy of a vehicle supply contract was from the last 3 years, which was executed by the bidder. However, the contracts with our customers are confidential and for reasons of maintaining customers confidentiality, we will not be able to view them. Is it possible to present a reference from the customer? Or another supporting document that is not a contract to show that we have experience in supplying similar products in the last three years?Answer for Question No:07A delivery time of 8 weeks is acceptable. Please provide the required information in the table under Section III: Returnable Bidding Forms, under Form D: Previous Experience Form.Question: 08Could you please shed light on the difference between the following items required as medical equipment: "AED or DC Shock (defibrillator)" and "Monitoring and Defibrillation ECG monitor with defibrillator (Child size pads and adults)"Answer for Question No: 08The AED / DC shock defibrillator does not necessarily have an ECG monitor. For Advanced Life Support, the ECG monitor is mandatory, therefore the ECG monitor with defibrillator supersedes the former.
