The ILO Project “Nias Islands Rural Access Capacity Building” (INS/09/02/IDA) with funding from the Multi Donor Trust Fund for Aceh and North Sumatra supports district Governments in Nias, and Nias Selatan in the improvement of rural infrastructure, including the construction of suspension bridges. 

In the construction of the suspension bridges, the project will need to procure galvanized steels and pre-stretched wire ropes for delivery to locations in Nias Islands during 2010-2011.  The technical specifications of these goods are shown in Attachment 1.

The specific quantity for each delivery destination will be determined every six-months.

The ILO Office for Indonesia and Timor-Leste based in Jakarta wishes to invite interested suppliers to submit an expression of interest to manufacture the galvanized steels and pre-stretched wired ropes as per the technical specifications shown in Attachment 1 of this IEOI.
