The United Nations (UN) has a distinctive pavilion at the Expo and will feature dynamic exhibitions and events where under the theme “One Earth, One UN.”

The United Nations Secretariat Procurement Division (UNPD) is participating at the Expo by having a UN Procurement Week from 13-17 September 2010 at the UN Pavilion. The objective is to attract the business community as well as the general public to raise awareness about UN procurement and the activities of the UN Secretariat.

The UN Procurement Week will feature key presentations on topics such as procurement for peacekeeping, emergency relief, aviation and logistics services. The business community and trade organizations may be particularly interested to attend sessions concerning how they can support the UN through participating in tenders for the provision of goods and services in support of UN global operations.

Interested persons may purchase tickets on-line for the Expo at http://en.expo2010.cn/expotickets/indexn.htm or alternatively may purchase the tickets via on-site sales outlets and kiosks located at the Expo venue.
